Planning a wedding is stressful, there's no getting around that. There's going to be hurdles. Everyone is going to want to have input. You've got budgets to prepare, venues to see and a date to pick. 

My goal.

I strive to create quality pieces, while maintaining wallet friendly prices and perfectly capturing the essence and tone of your special day. I promise to keep the stationery process simple, making designing everything as stress-free as possible.

Invitation Suites

These are your guests first look at your wedding. Besides informing your guests you want them with you, they will help to set the tone of your special day.  I'll need to know your thoughts on;
  • The overall theme/feel you're hoping to achieve
  • Color scheme
  • ​How formal you want your text
  • Any specific elements you want to include
  • Anything specific you don't want to see
  • The names of any Pinterest boards you have created for your wedding
I will need to know your;
  • Names
  • Wedding date
  • ​Ceremony location (Venue, City, State)
  • Reception location (Venue, City, State)
  • Ceremony time
  • Wedding website
  • Response date
  • Any other necessary response information (food choices, allergies, song choice, etc.

My Bridal Questionnaire has been set up to include all of this  and more. If we haven't already had our initial conversation or you aren't ready to submit, I still suggest you have a look to make sure you've gathered all of your necessary information.

Save-the-Dates

These are the first thing you'll send out. The information you need to include is very limited. I'll need to know;​
  • A general idea of the tone and/or theme
  • Names
  • Wedding date
  • Location (City, State are enough)
  • ​Wedding website (optional)
  • ​Engagement photo(s) (optional)

Details cards aren't always necessary.

​With the addition of wedding websites the information you need to actually include in your invitation suite has dwindled. Guests can now visit your site to find out everything they need to know in order to make sure they are prepared for your special day.

Creating your vision.

After I understand your vision I will begin designing. Proofs will be sent directly to the bride and/or groom via email from EAlexDesigns@Gmail.com. 
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time during the process. Some of my favorite clients have written me at 3 a.m. because they just had a great idea! Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, I can guarantee not telling me is exactly what you shouldn't do. You never know, it could be the missing piece I need!
After receiving your proofs write me back with any changes you have, my goal is to perfectly capture the essence of the two of you and your wedding. Changes will be made as quickly as possible and sent back. Please remember I have many clients and therefore I must make sure I complete things in order of importance, that said, if you haven't heard from me in two business days please contact me to make sure I received your message, technology can be tricky/finicky for us all!

FIRST
Getting to know each other.

Fill out your bridal questionnaire by clicking the button below, make sure to be open and honest. I strongly suggest putting together a bridal Pinterest board to share with me.  Fill it with things you love and things you hate (but make sure I know what you don't like!) The more I know what you like, what you want, and what you can't stand, the better your final result will be.
After I have received your bridal questionnaire I will contact you with any questions I have. I will then prepare your proposal and contract. After I have received your signed contract and deposit (75% of design costs) we will get started.

THIRD
​Sending to press.

This is where it really starts to get exciting! After you have signed off on your final proofs I will send them to be professionally printed and begin collecting your envelopes and any other materials we need. What? Shopping? Yes, that's why it's my favorite part!
If you've chosen for me to address your invitations this will also be the time to get me your final addresses. If you've asked me to do the assembly for you I will assemble all of your pieces as soon as they arrive to me.

AND FINALLY
Heading your way!

Oh my!!! Now this really is the best part! I'll send your invitations to you fully insured and with tracking via the United States Postal Service. All packages will require a signature so be sure to have them sent to a place where someone will be available to sign for them.
How much does it cost?
There are so many factors to consider when talking price for custom invitations.
​To see a good-faith estimate for 100 custom designed save-the-dates or invitations  and digital printing  you can download the files below. Please remember that different printing processes, paper qualities, assembly variations, etc, etc, etc can greatly effect the price of custom items. These prices are to only serve as a general guideline, for more specific pricing please contact me directly or fill out my bridal questionnaire.

Always remember.

If his father wants to invite a million people you've never met, or if your mother insists on yellow roses, channel Queen Elsa and Let it Go.
Everyone is going to have their two cents when it comes to what they want and what they think you need. Take a deep breath, accept their "wisdom" graciously and remember; at the end of the day the wedding is about you, your 
fiancé, the love that you share, and becoming man and wife. In other words, it's your wedding, do what makes you happy, not anyone else.

After receiving your final approval printing and assembly will begin! This is my favorite part of the process. In an effort to support all budgets I offer different types of printing and paper, DIY bundles and full service assembly, including mailing.
