What is a designer for life?
Every client story is different, here’s just one…
Where we started.
Sarah and Min got engaged and booked me for their wedding invitations and day of stationery. Their colors were orange and blue, they were having a summer camp style wedding, wanted hints of Min’s Korean background and no hearts were allowed!
A little reveal.
Sarah and Min were pregnant and I helped them with an intimate gender reveal. Again, orange and blue, but this time playing off Min’s full name, Min O (minnow).
Traditional Baek-il party.
After the birth of their first, they threw a backyard barbecue to celebrate Emelia’s first 100 days, a Korean tradition.
Emelia’s birthdays.
From there we continued on with Emelia’s birthdays. Her first Doljanchi, which sadly moved to zoom because of Covid. Next a two-dles party and my favorite thus far was her third birthday, the theme? Spiderman donuts!
Another one eh?
Between birthdays Sarah and Min had another cutie, Nari, and after 100 days it was time to celebrate with a popsicle theme, a citrus palette and a baptism to boot!
Nari’s first birthday.
Min and Sarah went back and forth between woodland creatures and safari, but in the end all I had to do was look to my backyard for inspiration. The animals are so cute and favor tags tied together both the goodie bags and the theme!
Okay, but still … what is a designer for life?
I work with clients to help them make important announcements, share holiday cards and join them on the journey of growing their families.
As time passes, styles change, favorite colors differ and themes shift. Knowing and growing with a family makes it easy to create custom, unique and on-brand stationery for all of their family events, big or small!
Erin's designs are amazing! She created the most unique package for our camp wedding invitations not to mention an actual newspaper to serve as our programs with the weekend's events! I go to Erin for all of my family's design needs. Every birthday for my children brings a beautiful invitation that expresses their individual tastes. She is always able to combine random requests (like a 3 year old's pink-spiderman-doughnut party dream!). She was even able to help me pivot when the pandemic derailed our event and required an e-card follow-up to printed invitations for a quick conversion to zoom. Erin is always prompt, easy to work with and brings the most clever, creative ideas to present. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy working with her each year!
